Oprah is a symbol across the world. Her image and name evoke smiles on the faces of women everywhere from the thoughts of inspiration and achievement Oprah presents. Oprah has a list of ‘favorite things’ she likes to share with her guests. Among them have been some of the teas from Talbott Teas, including this Luscious Lemon Meringue.
This year’s World Tea Expo is my 3rd trip to this event. I’ve appreciated the opportunities to learn and meet new people each year. I’ve made friends and contacts from every corner of the world and every continent save for Antarctica. The events and sights from this first day of the expo are similar to those from the past two years. Full of energy, vibrant colors and effusive scents tantalizing for everyone here. Strawberry has to be one of the most common flavors in the flavor world. It’s everywhere. It’s in ice cream, cereals, milk and now tea! This Strawberry Green Rooibos from 52teas is a uniquely tasty blend.
Those of us fond of chai sometimes enjoy the experimentation which can come with this beverage. It’s spiciness lends the flavor profile to being played with. This CoCo Chai Rooibos from David’s Tea offers a nice twist.
This Zingiber Ginger Coconut Rooibos tea from Teavana is one of the first teas I ever had from them. It’s spicy, aromatic and smooth to drink.
Rooibos continues to be an emerging trend. People in countries all over the world are latching on to the latest antioxident rich naturally sweet imbibable brew. Cherry Me Bloom Rooibos with Acai from Village Tea is a great start if you’re going to make one!
Fig is a tremendously underrated fruit. Aside from Fig Newtons there aren’t many people here in the ‘States’ who consume this fruit frequently. This Cinnamon Fig Rooibos is light but flavorful and an every day quality tea if you ask me.
On occasion I like to venture out into the realm of fruity concoctions. Something fruity can excite the senses and leave you wanting more. This Acai Berry from Zhena’s Gypsy Tea is apparently not my thing. Read on to learn why.
